                                    Brucellosis for heifers 4 to 10 months of age

                                    6-way Virus (IBR, PI 3, BVD-2, BRSV) with 6-way Lepto

                                    Dehorn, castrate, deworm, lice and fly control

Weaning or

2-3 weeks after

weaning                        7-way Clostridia with H Somnus

                                    Brucellosis for heifers 4 to 10 months of age (if not done prior to weaning)

                                    6-way Virus (IBR, PI 3, BVD-2, BRSV) with 6-way Lepto

                                    Dehorn, castrate, deworm, lice and fly control

GENERAL

        1.    Dehorn at earliest opportunity

        2.    Two vaccinations three weeks apart gives optimum immunity

        3.    Modified live viral vaccines give the best immunity at the least cost

                but can cause problems in pregnant cattle if not vaccinated before breeding

        4.    Wormy calves will benefit from a second deworming

        5.    Purchased calves need more vaccines
